Comparison

Hilda AI vs. PolyAI

PolyAI is the most capable platform on this page and we would not claim otherwise. It runs voice for airlines, banks and international hotel groups, covers a very large number of languages, and publishes real security and compliance material. On 2026-07-30 it shipped Dialog-RSN-1, a new audio-native voice model, and reported an 11% relative improvement in call containment at a national restaurant group using it, a sign the platform keeps improving on hospitality use cases, not just enterprise ones. It also has a named chain-scale reference customer: Fogo de Chão, the steakhouse chain, put PolyAI's voice agent (branded "Selma") live across all 88 of its U.S. locations in February 2026, reporting 95% guest satisfaction and an 88% booking-completion rate. It is still sold through a sales cycle, priced per minute on request, and built for organisations with a contact centre. If you have one, talk to them.

Compared against PolyAI's published product, industries and pricing pages, originally verified July 2026. PolyAI does not publish rates; their pricing page states usage is billed per minute and directs you to request a demo. Updated 2026-08-14: poly.ai was unreachable directly from this environment (network egress blocked), so the Dialog-RSN-1 launch and restaurant containment figure are sourced from independent tech-press coverage (MarkTechPost, SiliconANGLE, CMSWire, TechTimes) of PolyAI's 2026-07-30 announcement, not a direct read of poly.ai. Separately, a third-party aggregator (not PolyAI, Toast, or independent press) claims PolyAI now has native Toast/Square POS integration for restaurants, we could not corroborate this anywhere else (no PolyAI press release, no Toast partner-ecosystem announcement, unlike Loman AI's confirmed Toast partnership), so we're not stating it as fact; flagged as unconfirmed on the page instead. Updated 2026-08-17: added the Fogo de Chão deployment (announced 2026-02-03) as a named chain-scale reference customer, per PolyAI's own blog post title (poly.ai/blog/fogo-de-chao-selects-polyai-to-bring-hospitality-to-every-call) and independent coverage (PRNewswire, Fogo de Chão's own GlobeNewswire release, Restaurant Dive, Restaurant Business Online, TipRanks), all reporting the same 88-location figure and satisfaction/booking-completion numbers. poly.ai remained unreachable this run (network egress blocked session-wide), so this is press-corroborated only, not a direct read of PolyAI's blog post. Check poly.ai directly before relying on either claim.

Choose PolyAI if…

  • You run an international group with a real contact centre and agent headcount
  • You need a long tail of languages, or regulated-industry compliance evidence
  • You have a procurement process and a budget that expects an enterprise contract

Choose Hilda if…

  • You run one venue, or a handful, and nobody there is going to run a procurement
  • You want a price on a page and a system live this week
  • The job is the phone line, not an omnichannel customer-service platform

Judge it for yourself

On a demo we will deliberately ask Hilda something it should not know, so you hear how it hands off, not just the happy path.
